I rarely write reviews. But i like this game very much. The art, the music, the characters. If you liked the endless running part of Valiant Hearts, this is for you.
I was a little sceptical, just looking at the preview photos/video, but I thought I should give it a try. And thank god I did! This game is so beautiful. The art, the music, the story and the gameplay is all great. Its totally worth the money!

There are many people in the world who experience the fight against cancer, and other illnesses. Whether they are fighting it themselves, or its their friend who is.
This game portrayed the struggle so beautifully. With amazing graphics and beautiful music to go with it. Ill admit I was very skeptical when purchasing this 5$ game, as i usually dont make such expensive purchases. I thought this would just be another run and jump game. But I was surprised. Each level is connected to an emotion, and is timed to the music. The levels alone without a storyline were enough to move me, make me feel something. But the. As it turns out there was a storyline, a wonderful sad storyline that at the end fractured my heart into pieces. From the way the story is told to the story itself, the art, the music, the emotional depth. This game is simply beautiful. In every way. It was without a doubt worth the money. I highly recommend this game.
Some bad moments
Unfortunately, the controls dont feel very responsive even on my new iPhone 6. Swiping the character across the screen in order to avoid obstacles requires an exaggerated gesture in order to register 100% of the time. To make matters worse, the animations dont seem very smooth and polished either despite the pretty artwork. My recommendation, "PASS"! There are better runners and rhythm games on the App Store. This one feels like a combined mess, despite its interesting premise, combining the mechanics of a rhythm game and a runner game. Its hard-hitting flaws unfortunately make the game more of a chore to play then it should be.
I bought this for two dollars, which is nothing, but I know free games hilariously better than this. No fun, very simple, bad purchase.
I purchased this game when it first came out, and only 4 months later these guys are still making great updates and improvements with a brand new story already in progress...they updated the graphics that just look so pretty to the eye, combined with solid, fun controls and a compelling story...these developers know what they are doing and care about their fans and it shows on the screen...this should be listed as an essential in the App Store, imo...and if you havent played this game yet - do yourself a favor and buy it now. Its not expensive and they keep adding updates for some of the most replayability youll ever find in a game...the create your own level tool is brilliant as well, there is so much fun to be had...thank you, so much to the developers!

I dont know if anyone else is having this problem but the character keeps jumping for no reason. Its so aggravating! But other than that its the best game ive seen in years
